A fantastic opening has arisen in Wolseley UK HR team and Wolseley UK are looking for a commercially driven HR Business Partner to join Wolseley UK business. This role will be based in Wolseley UK Warwick & Chesterfield offices with weekly travel to branches and some flexibility to work from home.
Responsible for the development and delivery of a people plan for the infrastructure businesses which covers Burdens, Fusion Utilities, Jointing Tech & Cascade. Serving customers across civils, water, gas, fibre, electricity, and green energy. As a dedicated partner for each business the role provides support on generalist HR matters to each Leadership team.
Designing and delivering a people plan that fits with the business unit’s strategic plans and projects. Delivering exceptional customer service to the business units on the day to day and longer-term plans. This role is primarily a facilitator of change; developing strong relationships with the internal customers and the specialist teams in HR to influence and implement people solutions that develop and grow the business.

Up for the challenge? Here’s what Wolseley UK’d like you to have:
- Previous experience as a HR Business Partner, working in a complex multi-site environment.
- Proven experience of developing and managing change programmes across a business especially complex organisation design and people changes.
- Working in a fast-paced business environment with a high focus on sales and customer service whilst operating a cost-conscious culture.
- Broad HR experience across Performance Management, Talent Management & Succession Planning, Culture Development, Recruitment & Selection, Reward & Recognition , Employee Engagement, Employee Relations & Organisational Design.
- Personable, strong stakeholder management skills, ability to talk numbers and make decisions.
