Customer Service Specialist

The WM/Refinitiv business provides a benchmark rate service for Spot, Forward and NDF rates at fixed points throughout the global day, on a 24hr x 5.5 day basis. WM/Refinitiv rates are recognized as the global standard for FX benchmarks, used by more than 1000 financial institutions worldwide. London Stock Exchange Group are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join the Client Support team for London Stock Exchange Group platform FX benchmark service supporting all new and existing client subscriptions.


Role Summary:

  • Provide an excellent customer support ensuring that all enquiries are taken care of in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Work with both internal and external clients assisting and facilitating the onboarding of new clients who require a subscription to access and use London Stock Exchange Group platforms ensuring adherence to the regulatory policies.
  • Adhere to WM/R regulatory requirements to ensure clients are treated fairly and consistently in accordance with Fair, Reasonable and equal opportunity Access (FRAND) policies.
  • Participate in project work and service improvement initiatives

Key Relationships:

  • New and existing users of the WM/Refinitiv exchange rate services
  • Refinitiv Sales and Account teams, IT Support and Development teams
  • WM/Refinitiv Content Operations Team
  • Refinitiv Legal, Compliance and Commercial Operations Team

Essential Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working in a customer focused team
  • Demonstrate literacy, both verbal and written skills
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to understand and interpret complex market information
  • Effective at decision making, including when faced with partial information
  • Be able to multi task producing accurate work under pressure of time
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Creating opportunities to develop self & team

Desired Skills/Experience Required:

  • Understanding of the global financial marketplace
